Itinerary for Nyungwe Chimpanzee Tracking

Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and Transfer to Nyungwe National park for the Canopy walkway

This morning, pick up from Kigali, transfer to the southern province in Nyungwe forest, later you will reach to Uwinka Overlook, for meeting park guide and briefing about Igishigishigi trails heading to Canopy walkway, It will be a great experience with a scenic view of Nyungwe natural forest. from there you will back for lunch you will drive to Gisakura for overnight and dinner at the chosen accommodation.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and drive back to Kigali

Breakfast and drive to the park headquarters to be briefed about the “dos and don’ts” while with the chimps before entering the forest. You will encounter the chimps and many other primates like the black and white monkeys and various bird species then after lunch you will drive back to Kigali for drop off.
